Consulent Bijzondere Bijstand

Als Inkomensspecialist Bijzondere Bijstand speel jij een belangrijke rol in het ondersteunen van inwoners die tijdelijk financiële hulp nodig hebben. Jij zorgt ervoor dat aanvragen zorgvuldig, rechtmatig en tijdig worden afgehandeld en draagt direct bij aan het terugdringen van achterstanden binnen de gemeente.

Je behandelt aanvragen van begin tot eind, zorgt voor een volledige dossiervorming en neemt zelfstandig besluiten. Daarbij heb je oog voor zowel de wet- en regelgeving als de situatie van de inwoner.

Wat je gaat doen:

Je houdt je bezig met het behandelen van aanvragen voor Bijzondere Bijstand en het wegwerken van achterstanden. Per opdracht kan dit verschillen, maar je kunt denken aan:

  • Het beoordelen en verwerken van aanvragen voor Bijzondere Bijstand
  • Het opstellen van rapportages en beschikkingen
  • Het volledig afhandelen van dossiers
  • Contact onderhouden met inwoners en ketenpartners zoals bewindvoerders
  • Het opvragen van aanvullende informatie en toelichten van besluiten
  • Het oppakken van klantreacties en bijdragen aan (informeel) bezwaar
  • Werken met systemen zoals Suite
  • Fungeren als vraagbaak voor collega’s binnen het team
  • Signaleren van knelpunten en meedenken over verbeteringen

Wat jij meebrengt:

• Ruime ervaring met Bijzondere Bijstand is een must

• Minimaal hbo werk- en denkniveau

• Kennis van de Participatiewet en gemeentelijke beleidsregels

• Ervaring met Suite is een pré

• Zelfstandig, nauwkeurig en besluitvaardig

• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, ook in complexe situaties
