Consulent Werk en Inkomen

Als consulent werk en inkomen ben jij het eerste aanspreekpunt voor inwoners met vragen over hun inkomen en bestaanszekerheid. Jij voert brede gesprekken met inwoners en kijkt samen naar passende ondersteuning, zodat zij weer verder kunnen.

Je onderzoekt de situatie van inwoners zorgvuldig en kijkt niet alleen naar de aanvraag zelf, maar ook naar andere factoren die invloed kunnen hebben op hun situatie. Denk hierbij aan werk, schulden of andere leefgebieden. Op basis van jouw analyse zorg je ervoor dat inwoners op de juiste plek terechtkomen binnen de dienstverlening van de gemeente.

Je beoordeelt aanvragen voor levensonderhoud vanuit de Participatiewet en zorgt voor een duidelijke en zorgvuldige afhandeling van de aanvraag. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met collega’s en samenwerkingspartners om inwoners zo goed mogelijk te ondersteunen.

Wat je gaat doen

Je helpt inwoners verder met vragen rondom inkomen en participatie. Per opdracht kunnen de werkzaamheden verschillen, maar je kunt denken aan:

  • Het voeren van brede gesprekken met inwoners over hun inkomenssituatie
  • Het beoordelen van aanvragen voor levensonderhoud vanuit de Participatiewet
  • Het bepalen van de afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt
  • Signaleren van andere vraagstukken zoals schulden of andere leefgebieden
  • Doorverwijzen naar de juiste collega’s of samenwerkingspartners
  • Het opstellen van rapportages en administratieve afhandeling van aanvragen

Wat jij meebrengt

  • Een relevant HBO diploma (bijvoorbeeld SJD, Social Work, MWD of vergelijkbaar)
  • Kennis van wet- en regelgeving rondom de Participatiewet
  • Ervaring met gesprekken voeren met inwoners
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en empathisch vermogen
  • Je werkt zorgvuldig en denkt oplossingsgericht
