Medewerker Bijzondere Bijstand

Als Medewerker Bijzondere Bijstand ondersteun je inwoners bij aanvragen voor bijzondere bijstand en verschillende minimaregelingen. Je beheert een eigen caseload, onderzoekt de persoonlijke en financiële situatie van inwoners en beoordeelt zelfstandig of zij recht hebben op ondersteuning.

Contact met inwoners staat centraal. Je voert gesprekken om hulpvragen te verduidelijken, vraagt waar nodig aanvullende informatie op en denkt mee over passende oplossingen. Daarnaast werk je nauw samen met collega’s en netwerkpartners bij complexere situaties.

Wat je gaat doen:

  • Zelfstandig beheren van een eigen caseload binnen de bijzondere bijstand;
  • Beoordelen en afhandelen van aanvragen voor bijzondere bijstand;
  • Beoordelen en afhandelen van aanvragen voor individuele inkomenstoeslag;
  • Behandelen van aanvragen voor gemeentelijke minimaregelingen voor niet-uitkeringsgerechtigden;
  • Toetsen van de inkomens- en vermogenssituatie van inwoners;
  • Beoordelen van aanvragen aan de hand van geldend beleid en relevante wet- en regelgeving;
  • Persoonlijk en telefonisch spreken van inwoners om hun hulpvraag te verduidelijken;
  • Opvragen en beoordelen van aanvullende informatie;
  • Actief informeren van inwoners over hun aanvraag en mogelijkheden;
  • Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor inwoners bij vragen over bijzondere bijstand en minimaregelingen;
  • Verwerken van wijzigingen wanneer de persoonlijke of financiële situatie van een inwoner verandert;
  • Adviseren van netwerkpartners bij complexe situaties;
  • Afstemmen met netwerkpartners wanneer inwoners ondersteuning nodig hebben buiten de bijzondere bijstand;
  • Zorgvuldig registreren en verwerken van gegevens in Suite;
  • Overleggen met collega’s en gezamenlijk zoeken naar oplossingen bij complexe casuïstiek.

Wat jij meebrengt:

  • Een aantoonbaar afgeronde opleiding op minimaal hbo-bachelorniveau (harde eis);
  • Minimaal 3 jaar aantoonbare werkervaring in de afgelopen 8 jaar als Regisseur Bijzondere Bijstand binnen een gemeente (harde eis);
  • Minimaal 3 jaar aantoonbare werkervaring in de afgelopen 8 jaar met Suite (harde eis);
  • Minimaal 5 jaar werkervaring als Regisseur Bijzondere Bijstand binnen een gemeente is een pré;
  • Ervaring met het adviseren van netwerkpartners in complexe situaties is een pré;
  • Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring met het beoordelen en afhandelen van aanvragen levensonderhoud is een pré;
  • Ruime ervaring met Suite, bij voorkeur minimaal 5 jaar, is een pré;
  • Je kunt zelfstandig de inkomens- en vermogenssituatie van inwoners beoordelen;
  • Je bent in staat hulpvragen goed te analyseren en door te vragen wanneer aanvullende informatie nodig is;
  • Je communiceert duidelijk en klantgericht met inwoners;
  • Je bent flexibel, creatief, collegiaal en analytisch;
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, maar zoekt actief de samenwerking met collega’s en netwerkpartners.
