Vision Health is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our established, patient-focused practice in Tumwater. This is an opportunity to practice full-scope optometry with exposure to a diverse range of clinical specialties in a well-supported, professionally managed environment. ⸻ The Role Full-time position with a consistent, balanced schedule Strong mix of primary care and medical optometry Established patient base with steady demand Modern equipment and efficient clinical workflow Experienced, well-trained support staff ⸻ Clinical Focus & Specialties Ocular disease management (glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye) Dry eye diagnosis and treatment protocols Pre- and post-operative care (cataract and refractive surgery) Contact lens fittings, including specialty lenses Opportunity to expand into areas of clinical interest ⸻ Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO) Continuing education support Long-term growth and development opportunities ⸻ The Practice Organized, professionally managed environment Strong team culture with high staff retention Emphasis on quality patient care and clinical autonomy Systems in place to support efficiency and consistency Ideal Candidate Licensed (or eligible) Optometrist in Washington Interest in practicing medical optometry and expanding clinical skillset Strong communication and patient care approach Collaborative, team-oriented mindset ⸻ Location Tumwater offers a high quality of life with access to outdoor recreation, a more relaxed pace than major metro areas, and convenient proximity to Seattle and Tacoma.
