What You'll Architect

As a Senior AI Solutions Engineer, you will help clients move from AI experimentation to real-world adoption. You will design, build, and advise on intelligent systems that combine Generative AI, modern software engineering, and business value creation. From early solution design to production-ready implementations, you will help organizations understand, shape, and operationalize AI.

  • Architect and deliver Generative AI solutions, including prompt workflows, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, intelligent assistants, and agentic systems.
  • Design and develop secure backend services in Python and Node.js, exposing AI capabilities through scalable APIs and integration layers.
  • Collaborate with front-end teams to create intuitive AI-powered user experiences and applications.
  • Translate client challenges into practical AI solutions, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and long-term maintainability.
  • Lead technical discovery workshops, demonstrations, and solution design sessions with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Support pre-sales and business development activities, including proposals, solution architecture, client presentations, and effort estimations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout early project phases, helping clients understand the opportunities, limitations, and risks of modern AI technologies.
  • Deliver AI awareness sessions and training workshops, enabling organizations to build AI literacy and confidence.
  • Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering teams to align technical implementation with business objectives.
  • Contribute to Keyrus AI methodologies, accelerators, and best practices, helping strengthen our AI capabilities across the organization.

You thrive in consulting environments where curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning are essential. You are comfortable working with ambiguity, helping clients navigate complex decisions, and transforming opportunities into tangible outcomes.

What You Bring

Qualifications / Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI, machine learning, data science, or solution architecture.
  • Experience designing and delivering AI-powered applications or intelligent platforms in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts, including prompt engineering, RAG architectures, foundation models, and AI application design.
  • Experience working directly with clients in a consulting, advisory, solution engineering, or technical pre-sales capacity.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
  • Comfortable facilitating workshops, demonstrations, presentations, and stakeholder discussions at different organizational levels.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams involving business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Professional working proficiency in English. Dutch and/or French are strong assets.
  • Eligibility to work in Belgium.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Technical Skills

You'll typically encounter technologies such as:

  • Generative AI & LLMs: Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Claude, Gemini, LangChain, Semantic Kernel
  • AI Engineering: Prompt Engineering, RAG, Vector Databases, Embeddings, AI Agents, LLMOps
  • Programming: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js
  • Front-End Technologies: React and modern web frameworks
  • Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
  • Data & AI Ecosystem: Machine Learning frameworks, data engineering platforms, API integrations
  • Software Engineering: REST APIs, Microservices, CI/CD, DevOps practices

We do not expect expertise in every technology listed above. We value deep expertise in a subset, combined with the ability to select, integrate, and apply the right technologies to solve real business challenges.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with MLOps, LLMOps, or AI platform engineering.
  • Exposure to enterprise architecture and large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with AI governance, Responsible AI, security, and compliance considerations.
  • Hands-on experience with vector databases, knowledge graphs, or advanced retrieval architectures.
  • Familiarity with Data Engineering, Analytics, or Cloud Architecture.
  • Previous experience delivering AI adoption or innovation programs in large organizations.
  • Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS, AI, or Data technologies.
