Contract Type: Full Time Role: Quality Assurance Engineer (Junior / Mid) Department: R&D / Engineering Role OverviewWe are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our R&D organization and validate embedded security solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of intrusion systems, access control panels, peripherals, and related accessories. The role works closely with R&D engineers, product managers, and technical support teams to verify that products meet functional, regulatory, and customer requirements before release.At this role you will perform testing independently, contribute to test strategy discussions, analyze defects, and support continuous quality improvements, while receiving guidance for more complex technical challenges. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test cases based on product requirements and specifications Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and compatibility testing of intrusion and access control solutions, including panels, keypads, readers, sensors, communication modules, and accessories Validate interactions between hardware, firmware, software applications, and cloud services where applicable Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results Create and maintain test plans, test reports, and defect documentation Support compliance readiness for EN 50131 through structured test evidence Provide feedback on product quality risks and release readiness Collaborate daily with R&D engineers, product management, and compliance teams
Required Profile
Engineering degree in Electronics or related technical field A few years of experience in Quality Assurance domain Experience with embedded system or hardware-related products testing (control panels, gateways, home automation etc.) Knowledge of QA processes, methods and tools and ability to use them in practice Structured, detail‑oriented testing mindset Strong analytical and problem solving skills (including usage of debugging logs, traces, serial output) Good command of English language (in writing and speech)
Additinal Qualifications
ISTQB certificate Experience in Attlasian toolchain usage Experience with EN 50131 or similar standards Experience in intrusion, detection or access domain
