The posting

The ideal candidate will work from our Jasper, IN 11th Ave. manufacturing facility.

Role Description: Provide hands-on support to the EHS team to strengthen safety compliance, reduce workplace risk, engage employees, and improve safety performance across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with safety inspections, audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
  • Track corrective and preventive actions and maintain safety records, procedures, and training documentation.
  • Support OSHA and company compliance, PPE programs, and regulatory reporting.
  • Help prepare and deliver safety orientations, training materials, communications, and awareness activities.
  • Participate in safety committees, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
  • Collect and analyze safety data, prepare KPI reports, and identify recurring risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering on safety improvement projects.

  • Demonstrates initiative, attention to detail, organization, collaboration, problem-solving, and a willingness to learn while promoting a positive, proactive safety culture.

Job Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in Occupational Safety & Health, EHS, Industrial Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Hygiene, or a related degree program.
  • Able to work in a manufacturing facility, wear required PPE, walk production areas, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Must be local to Jasper, IN
  • Required to work onsite at the Jasper, IN 11th Ave. manufacturing location
