About Your Company

King Deux is partnering with an industry pioneer asset manager in growing it’s presence in Asia. We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Portfolio Manager to lead and scale our multi-asset, multi-strategy platform across public ETFs and private funds. This role is built for an innovative investor with a track record in traditional markets and a strong drive to explore digital assets as an emerging asset class. You will take full ownership of fund management, strategy incubation, and investment operations while serving as a key regulatory pillar for our ETF platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discretionary portfolio management and strategy execution for both ETF products and private funds.
  • Design, backtest, and deploy quantitative and fundamental multi-asset, multi-strategy mandates.
  • Drive research and product development around digital assets (e.g., crypto, tokenized assets, hybrid alternative strategies) for potential integration into existing or new fund structures.
  • Serve as the designated Responsible Officer (RO) / Key Investment Personnel (KIP) for public ETF funds, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational integrity.
  • Work closely with liquidity providers, market makers, custodians, and distributors to support fund growth and creation/redemption mechanisms.
  • Continuously incubate, test, and scale new trading concepts in an agile, entrepreneurial setup.

What you will need to succeed

  • Mandatory: Qualified or eligible to serve as an SFC Responsible Officer (RO Type 9) and meet Key Investment Personnel (KIP) requirements for authorized ETF funds.
  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years of portfolio management experience with a focus on multi-asset and multi-strategy coverage.
  • Product Knowledge: Solid grasp of ETF mechanics, market making, and private fund (LP/GP) structuring.
  • Digital Asset Focus: Genuine interest and strong foundational understanding of digital assets, Web3, and market dynamics across centralized and decentralized finance.
  • Mindset: Highly entrepreneurial, self-driven, and excited by zero-to-one strategy creation and product launches.
  • Skills: Strong quantitative and risk management capabilities; proficiency in modern portfolio construction tools and data analytics.
