Lube Technician Responsibilities
- Perform quality work: oil changes, tire rotations, replacing wipers, filters, etc.
- Data entry and communication with teammates
- Complete vehicle inspection
- Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
- Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first
Qualifications
- One year lube tech experience preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic computer competencies
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Dexterity: a steady hand & excellent hand-eye coordination
- Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Positive, friendly attitude and customer service mentality
- Previous experience at an automotive dealership a plus
- Strong understanding of the service drive a plus
Mid-Level with Opportunity for Paid Training
- Responsibilities ALL: Perform routine maintenance tasks on various vehicles. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify potential problems. Keep detailed records of all work performed and completed on vehicles. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Continuously learn and stay updated on new automotive technology and techniques. Diagnose and repair automobile mechanical and electrical issues, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Communicate with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations for future maintenance. Requirements ALL: High school diploma or equivalent. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are preferred but not required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Attention to detail and ability to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician. Must have own tools.
