A Day in the Life:

Tender and Procurement

  • Support the team that optimize cost, quality, and efficiency for projects and operations
  • Assist in vendor pre-qualification, approvals, and performance reviews to ensure a reliable and competitive vendor pool
  • Provide procurement and cost support for pre-award tender submissions, ensuring compliance with Company’s procurement policies
  • Provide procurement and vendor cost inputs to support tender and bid submissions where needed
  • Support the in-procurement exercise and development/execution of consultancy support to the company, enhancing procurement protocol efficiency
  • Maintain and update the approved vendor list, support the sourcing of new suppliers to meet business requirements
  • Performance of other tasks which may be assigned by the Head of Department from time to time
  • Support the Project team in executing project procurement related activities when requested, aligned with project objectives

Knowledge & Skill requirements:

  • Exposure to tender and bid support processes in a project-driven environment is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with exposure to negotiation process
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey procurement matters clearly to vendors, senior management, and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with finance, and project management teams

Education & Experience requirements:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Construction/Commercial Projects/Retail and Corporate office interior design
