  • The ability to Monitor the performance of the servers, proactively identifying issues/abnormalities that may pose a threat to the customer’s service.
  • The ability to review performance logs, analysing the performance, identifying trends, patterns and detecting irregular behaviour.
  • Managing the monitoring solutions setup, updating, enhancing, modifying the parameters as the infrastructure and systems are updated and upgraded.
  • Ensuring that the servers are backed up, and that there is an automatic failover in the case of any server downtime.
  • Proactively and reactively applying vulnerability patches to managed sites.
  • Communicate with the customer to understand the underlying issue and provide timely feedback
  • Work proactively with others across Dematic to ensure prompt resolution of support issues.
  • Provide support to colleagues through knowledge sharing and promoting knowledge sharing initiatives.

While you will be educated and supported on the job, an inherent aptitude to technical problem solving will be required.

The position is office hours based in Stockport and will involve out of hours work and an on-call roster.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
