Protection Specialist

KIVON | Athens | Full-Time

About the Role

KIVON is looking for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity & Digital Brand Protection

Specialist to help protect the websites, digital assets and online presence of our clients.

This is not a traditional IT support or SOC monitoring role.

You will work across multiple client environments, proactively identifying potential security

risks, website vulnerabilities, suspicious activity, brand impersonation and other digital

threats before they become serious business problems.

You will also work closely with an experienced external cybersecurity specialist who

currently supports this area and will provide hands-on training on our existing

methodologies, tools and processes.

Over time, you will take increasing ownership of our Cybersecurity & Digital Brand

Protection services, becoming a trusted security point of contact for KIVON and its

clients.

What You'll Own

Website & Cybersecurity Protection

Perform regular security reviews and monitoring of client websites and digital

assets.

Identify vulnerabilities, security misconfigurations, exposed services and other

potential attack vectors.

Monitor for signs of compromise, malware, unauthorized changes or suspicious

activity.

Review domains, DNS, SSL/TLS configurations and other web infrastructure from a

security perspective.

Assess findings, determine their severity and recommend appropriate remediation

actions.

Support incident investigation and response when suspicious activity or potential

security breaches are identified.

Work with client technical teams, developers and external partners to ensure

security issues are properly addressed.Digital Brand Protection

Monitor for fake or copycat websites, phishing pages, domain impersonation

and typosquatting.

Identify unauthorized use or imitation of client brands and digital assets.

Investigate suspicious domains, websites and online activity associated with

potential brand abuse.

Help coordinate appropriate escalation and remediation when threats are identified.

Continuously improve the way we detect and monitor emerging digital threats

against our clients.

Security Assessment & Reporting

Conduct periodic vulnerability and security assessments across client

environments.

Translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for both

technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Prepare concise security reports outlining risks, priorities and recommended

actions.

Maintain appropriate documentation of assessments, incidents and remediation

activities.

Help develop repeatable security monitoring standards, checklists and processes

across our client portfolio.

What We're Looking For

Approximately 4+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, security

engineering, vulnerability management, web application security or a closely related

field.

Strong understanding of web security principles and common web

vulnerabilities, including OWASP-related risks.

Practical experience with vulnerability assessment and security monitoring tools.

Good understanding of domains, DNS, SSL/TLS, web infrastructure and common

attack vectors.

Ability to investigate suspicious activity and distinguish meaningful security risks

from false positives.

Understanding of phishing, domain abuse, impersonation and other forms of online

fraud or brand misuse. Ability to communicate security findings clearly to developers, management and

clients.

Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying

risks.

Professional working proficiency in English.

Experience in one or more of the following would be highly valuable:

Vulnerability Management

Security automation and scripting

Relevant cybersecurity certifications are welcome but practical experience and

judgement matter more than certificates alone.

Trust & Confidentiality

This position involves access to sensitive client information and security-related data.

A high level of integrity, discretion and professional responsibility is therefore

essential. The successful candidate will be expected to comply with strict confidentiality

and information-security requirements and may be subject to appropriate background

screening as permitted by applicable law.

What We Offer

A senior role with significant ownership and autonomy.

Hands-on onboarding and knowledge transfer from an experienced cybersecurity

specialist already working with KIVON.

Exposure to multiple businesses, websites and real-world security environments

rather than a single internal infrastructure. The opportunity to help shape and develop KIVON's Cybersecurity & Digital

Brand Protection practice.

Direct impact on how we protect our clients' businesses, brands and digital assets.

A role that can grow in scope as the service and client portfolio expand.

Competitive compensation based on experience.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
