About KiwiCo:

KiwiCo is an innovative eCommerce company dedicated to sparking creativity and curiosity in kids (and kids at heart!). Through both online and offline materials, we provide fun and engaging ways for kids to explore, create, and learn. Our primary offering is a subscription service where we deliver "whoa awesome," hands-on projects to kids. We also manage an eCommerce storefront and a content platform to inspire and educate. We take great pride and ownership in the products we build and in the community of parents and kids we serve.

Our office is located in Mountain View, CA within walking distance to the Caltrain station. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with 3-4 office days per week (depending on your team) and the remainder of the week working remotely.

About this role:

We are looking for a Product Manager to own key business areas across KiwiCo, including E-commerce, Education, Operations, Wholesale. We seek a data-driven, customer-obsessed problem solver who can quickly master our systems and processes. You will be instrumental in improving our products, driving business growth, and increasing operational efficiency.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Help manage the entire product development lifecycle from ideation and requirements definition, to launch, tracking performance, and optimization.
  • Identify and prioritize product opportunities by leveraging and analyzing business intelligence, web analytics, competitive research, and user research
  • Collaborate with engineering, business stakeholders, operations, and design teams to drive projects to successful completion, including project management and testing, to ensure that business goals are achieved
  • Streamline operational workflows for the Education and Wholesale teams to enable efficient, scalable processing of large bespoke orders, while continuously identifying opportunities to enhance internal productivity.
  • Analyze customer feedback and technical data to diagnose and resolve product bugs.
  • Design and conduct A/B tests to improve conversion rate in our E-Commerce store. Report out on the results, and suggest further optimizations.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/BA required.
  • 2+ years working as a product owner or product manager, with experience on internal business operations and consumer-facing products.
  • You are highly organized and adept at managing complex timelines. Driving projects to completion while mitigating risks is second nature to you.
  • You have a proven ability to evaluate competing initiatives and make data-informed trade-offs, ensuring resources are always focused on the highest-impact opportunities.
  • You thrive working across teams. You possess excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. You understand the value in working together to achieve something great.
  • You understand backend system architecture and can effectively translate technical concepts into product requirements.
  • You are fluent in web analytics (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) and AB testing (e.g. Optimizely, etc). You can write your own SQL queries or are ready to learn basic SQL.
  • Experience using AI tools, LLMs, or machine learning capabilities to streamline workflows, analyze complex datasets.
  • You have experience working in fast-paced startup or small-team environments. You are comfortable with ambiguity, can context-switch easily, and are ready to wear multiple hats to drive projects to completion.

Desired Qualifications:

  • You have basic coding knowledge, allowing for deeper communication with our engineers.
  • You have helped build a product from the ground up or contributed significantly to an early-stage company.
  • You have hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms and understand the levers for revenue growth and conversion optimization.

The starting pay range for this position is between $90,000 and $105,000 per year. However, the final base salary offered may differ based on several factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs.

In addition to base pay, KiwiCo offers a comprehensive total rewards package, which may include opportunities for an annual bonus, stock options, and a variety of benefits related to health, financial security, and well-being. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
