The posting

What you will do As an Incident Response Manager on Klarna's incident response team, you will lead incident-related initiatives and improvement projects within a fast-moving banking and financial services environment. You will bring structure, planning, and disciplined execution to incident response activities, ensuring clear communication, coordinated stakeholder engagement, and timely resolution during high-impact situations. Beyond live incidents, you will own the follow-up work that turns disruption into improvement — driving root cause analysis, remediation planning, and the delivery of preventive measures that strengthen Klarna's operational resilience over time. You will work closely with technical teams, domain owners, and senior stakeholders to keep incident-related workstreams moving, closing loops rather than letting action items stall. This position includes participation in a compensated on-call rotation and calls for calm, structured decision-making under pressure, particularly when priorities shift quickly and information is incomplete.

Who you are

  • Experience within the banking or financial services industry
  • Background in incident management, problem management, DevOps, or technical project management
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, drive, and follow up on complex incident-related initiatives
  • Ability to bring structure and clarity to unstructured, fast-moving environments
  • Comfortable making decisions under pressure while remaining calm and constructive
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to coordinate multiple stakeholders during critical situations
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility, with a drive to push progress and close loops
  • Ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining focus on long-term resilience, not just short-term fixes

Awesome to have

  • Experience leading incident response projects or major incident workstreams
  • Experience driving post-incident reviews and long-term remediation initiatives
  • Exposure to on-call operations for business-critical systems
  • Familiarity with regulated, highly available, or mission-critical technical environments
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, risk, or compliance teams

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
