The ideal candidate has knowledge of Accounts Payable and experience in a Shared Services environment. The main responsibilities of a ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST include:
- Process invoices using OCR and validate all the information extracted from the invoice for accuracy. Full training will be provided. The minimum number of invoices processed is approx. 140 for a day.
- Answer and return customer service inquiries in a timely manner and meet all SLA requirements
- The candidate will be a confident communicator, have good attention to detail, and be able to work in a pressurized environment driven by deadlines and SLAs.
- Ability to take responsibility for the quality of own work.
- Always a team player.
- This role does not have supervisory responsibilities
- Required to work the first week of the month
To apply for the role, you must have the following:
- Two + years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience within an Administration or Finance department + familiar with invoice and payment processing
- Detail oriented
- Able to work independently in a team environment
- Able to follow written and verbal instruction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on outstanding customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Customer Service driven
- Superior organization skills to ensure deadlines are met
- Ability to analyze and interpret information
It will also be favorable if you have the following:
- Kofax OCR Experience
- Shared Services Experience
- Ability to read international languages (EMEA region)
- Complies with necessary protocol and procedure
- Communicates freely and interacts with the wider team
- Offers ideas and suggestions at team meetings
- Complies with mandatory training requests
- Takes interest in driving own development
