Investigating and responding to integration and automation incidents raised through an incident management system. ▪ Troubleshoot and escalate unresolved tickets to an appropriate section. ▪ Communicating all forms of information, internal and external, to the appropriate channels ▪ Prioritise and manage service incidents, balancing diagnostic depth with agreed support SLAs. ▪ Progress tickets and provide relevant information for troubleshooting or clarification. ▪ Identify opportunities to produce knowledge-based articles pertinent to the support function. ▪ Identify opportunities for support process improvement. ▪ Replicate issues and provide a complete diagnosis/fault scenario handover to the development team third line support.
An opportunity to collaborate with a company on the leading edge of integration and process automation technology. ▪ Ongoing training and development ▪ Work within a supportive and enthusiastic technical environment. ▪ Opportunities to progress into deeper technical specialisation, escalation, platform expertise, or wider integration and automation roles. If you enjoy understanding how systems interact, untangling complex data flows, and helping partners succeed in real-world integrations, this role will give you both challenge and progressi
Essential ▪ Clear understanding of integration patterns such as synchronous & asynchronous requests, event driven Vs polling, batch Vs near real-time. ▪ A grasp of system boundaries and ownership where infrastructure meets the integration product, and product and tooling meet the integration solution design necessary for the support reasoning process. ▪ Identify error handling paths Vs successful execution paths. ▪ Good working knowledge of SQL query language ▪ Knowledge of web services using XML & JSON. Ability to analyse and find issues with HTTP requests and responses using any HTTP debugging tool. ▪ Understand schema drift and how breaking changes can occur when data is noncompliant. ▪ An ability to spot missing, unexpected, or malformed fields. ▪ Minimises escalation through good analysis skills and an ability to support APIled integrations. ▪ Has a good understanding of security methods such as OAuth2, use of JWTs, API keys, basic auth, certificates. IP whitelisting/security constraints. Certificate expiry and token refresh. ▪ An ability to interpret auth failure messages vs permission failures vs network timeouts. Desired ▪ Knowledge of working within server platforms such as Windows Server ▪ Experience using scripting languages such as VB & Jscript or PowerShell ▪ Knowledge of SQL server administration. ▪ Experience in using any reporting tool. ▪ Experience with the Azure SQL server offerings, including SQL SaaS. ▪ Knowledge of the various data storage methods semi-structured & unstructured ▪ Experience with supporting an integration product such as Boomi, Jitterbit, MuleSoft or Codeless BPA. Advantage ▪ Familiarity with using any FTP, SMTP, Mail Servers such as MS Exchange, General SMTP principles, Active Directory, IIS, MS SQL Server, Oracle ▪ Knowledge of working within virtualisation environments. Other Skills: Essential ▪ Strong spoken and written English ▪ Ability to communicate in a confident manner. ▪ Ability to prioritise objectives in line with company processes. ▪ Strong analytical mind and problem-solving capabilities ▪ Diligence and ability to think laterally under pressure. ▪ Ability to work and enjoy being under pressure whilst remaining customer friendly. Advantage ▪ Any mainstream foreign language skill
