The posting

Functional overview

The Workforce Planner's role is to coordinate, manage and control the availability of the resources of the DDC's project team. This individual will deal with the negotiation of the resources with the different project leaders and with different managers inside of the DDC for the assignation of resources to different projects that come into DDC, will control the workload of the Support team. Also, this individual will be responsible to manage the time recording tool chosen for the company for this objective. The Workforce planner will participate in the different analyses to improve the DDC´s workload and the analyses oriented to improve the productivity of the DDC on topics like shift pattern, stand by model, and any other that helps o keep the financial sanity of the DDC. Will be responsible for managing metrics defined by DDC in order to achieve the objectives mentioned before. It is also the duty to and, respond to staffing needs quickly, develop job classes, deploy staff, manage risk, and create a company culture. Determine how best to utilize the productivity and skills of each employee and track labour time using daily, weekly, and monthly measurements.

Duties and responsibilities

Strategy & Planning:

· The Workforce planner will work closely with the Managers of the DDC and the Project leaders

· To address workforce issues within the company

· Discover staffing needs

· Manage Risks

· Contribute with the creation of the company culture

· Proposal of staffing plans

· Providing strategic advice to decision-makers

· Reassigning workers to different tittles

· Discussing and Deciding with the management team when a role becoming obsolete

· Identifying critical job titles and classifying jobs

· Forecast staffing needs, considering contact volume and headcount requirements

Assist with scheduling and process time-off requests

Operational Management:

· Manage time recording tool

· Manage Skill matrix

· Generation of reports showing production volume to assess future and current needs

· Collection of data and analysis to improve business operations in one or more platform

· Define the changing work schedules to optimize performance coordinate with DDC management team

· Manage the workload of the DDC teams

· Forecasting staffing needs

· Generate reports to show changes to productivity or performance

· Provide updates on efficiency to DDC-C leaders

Formal Education & Certification:

· A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience

· Itil v3 foundation.

· Human resources experience preferred

· Requires keen attention to detail and communication and problem-solving skills.

Desired

· Certifications in any technical platform

Minimum qualifications

· At least 4 years experience in successfully delivering workforce planning, forecasting and reporting
