Position: Front End Developer ( Vue.JS/ NXT )

Location: Remote

Contract: 12+ months

Looking for a few of these people to be able to convert

Working some EST hours

  • Solid understanding of basic CSS Specificity needs to know that specificity could be calculated.
  • Must be able to articulate Computed values in Vue vs Methods and understand how/when to use them.
  • Experience with Vue lifecycle hooks.
  • Understanding of state management using Vuex.
  • Experience with Vue 2 and Vue 3 (Ideally)
  • Strong understanding of Typescript
  • Any experience migrating applications from Vue 2 and Vuex to the Composition API and Vue 3 using Typescript is ideal.
  • Experience working with UX designers to turn comps into pages
  • White-labeling experience when it comes to onboarding brands onto an ecommerce solution
  • Vanilla Javascript (ES6) experience (JS fundamentals need to be strong)

Top Skills' Details - Hard Skills:

  1. Expert level knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  2. Experience with a modern UI framework - Vue.js/NUXT
  3. Proven track record of delivering products that customers love to use
  4. Must have experience in supporting ecommerce applications

Expectations:

  • 6 9 years of extensive software engineering experience
  • 3 5 years of experience working in cross functional development/design teams
  • 35+ years on agile teams delivering value in digital products
  • 2+ years working with large development teams and legacy systems
  • 2+ years with client management or handling big stakeholder teams from prominent brands

IA info from current developer:

  1. UI/UX Components: work on components and CSS
  2. FE and API Integration team (must be able to do API integrations and CMS dev.

Current technologies: Vue 3 (current) and ecommerce. Exposure to Salesforce, Mulesoft.
