Overview

The Enterprise AE will play a critical role in driving Knit’s next phase of growth by opening net-new enterprise partnerships across their territory.

Insights teams are being asked to do more with less, and the traditional model forces them to choose between speed and quality, quant and qual, budget and depth. Knit removes that tradeoff. Our researchers and AI take a study from brief to decision-ready report in about a week, at a fraction of the cost of a traditional agency. You’ll bring that to the next wave of Fortune 1000 insights organizations.

This is a full-cycle, new-logo role: you’ll prospect, qualify, and close new business, partnering closely with Research and Customer Success throughout the sales process. Once a partnership is signed, you’ll hand it off to our Client Partner and Customer Success teams, who grow it from there.

You’ll join a team that’s building something category-defining, and you’ll help shape how some of the world’s most respected brands uncover and activate insights through AI-native research.

This is a high-impact role for a builder. You’ll have a real voice in how we sell, refine our processes, and elevate how enterprise clients experience Knit from the very first conversation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive net-new revenue by identifying, engaging, and closing partnerships with enterprise organizations in your territory.
  • Own your territory like a business, building a clear point of view on target accounts, buying centers, and where Knit wins.
  • Lead a consultative, discovery-led sales process from first conversation through close, positioning Knit as a trusted research partner, not just a vendor.
  • Collaborate deeply with Research and Customer Success so every proposal is grounded in what the client actually needs to decide.
  • Develop tailored outreach that earns new introductions with senior Insights and Marketing leaders, while partnering with Marketing on inbound interest.
  • Ensure seamless handoffs to Client Partners and Customer Success post-sale, clearly articulating client goals, key stakeholders, and success criteria.
  • Maintain high standards for pipeline integrity, forecasting accuracy, and documentation across every stage of the deal cycle.
  • Represent Knit externally at conferences, trade shows, and industry events, showing what AI-native research looks like in practice.
  • Continuously experiment and improve, bringing creativity, curiosity, and proactive thinking to how we sell and engage.

What Success Looks Like

You’ll be measured primarily by:

  • Net-New Revenue: Bringing on new enterprise logos and establishing lasting partnerships.
  • Territory Growth: Building a healthy, well-qualified pipeline across your territory’s highest-potential accounts.
  • Sales Excellence: Running disciplined processes, accurate forecasts, and detailed, data-driven deal hygiene.

What You'll Own & Who You Are

A successful candidate for this role has a track record of bringing on net-new contracts at Fortune 1000 companies, ideally with Insights and Marketing teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in consultative, discovery-led selling and knows that a client’s first experience with Knit starts with them.

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience leading a consultative, full-cycle enterprise sales process focused on new logos
  • Consistent track record of hitting or exceeding $1M+ annual sales quotas
  • Experience selling $100K+ annual contracts to Fortune 1000 companies
  • A discovery-first sales approach; you run a process that is thoughtful, intentional, curious, and consultative
  • Exceptionally organized, with disciplined pipeline management and attention to detail
  • Deep curiosity and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling value
  • Experience working in a collaborative, fast-scaling environment alongside Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams
  • A builder’s mindset; you are comfortable navigating ambiguity and energized by shaping the sales playbook as we grow

Nice to Haves:

  • Direct experience selling into Insights, Analytics, or Marketing teams at enterprise organizations
  • Familiarity with market research agencies, methodologies, or data platforms
  • Experience building or owning a geographic territory
  • Background in SaaS, AI, or technology-enabled services that drive strategic business decisions
  • History of success in high-growth or startup environments where playbooks are still being written

Benefits

Upon joining the Knit team, you will receive:

  • Competitive Salary + Commission (for applicable roles)
  • Equity Options
  • Healthcare (Medical, Dental, and Vision)
  • Additional Coverage
  • Company Laptop
  • One-time Onboarding Technology Stipend
  • 401(k) with Company Match
  • Flexible Time-Off
  • Hybrid Working
  • and more...

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
