The posting

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate Electrical Engineer to join our supercapacitor module team. In this role, you will focus on modifying PCB layouts, reading advanced electrical schematics, and performing precise soldering and debugging on complex circuit boards. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with CAD capabilities and a disciplined approach to interpreting specifications, conducting qualification tests, and documenting technical results.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Read, interpret, and accurately analyze complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Design and modify PCB layouts and schematics using Altium.
  • Perform high-precision soldering and desoldering on PCBs, executing surface-mount technology (SMT), fine-pitch components, and through-hole reworks.
  • Debug printed circuit boards down to the component level, identifying short circuits, open traces, cold solder joints, or faulty components.
  • Perform rigorous design and qualification testing (e.g., functional, environmental, thermal, and stress testing) on prototypes and production units.
  • Set up specialized test fixtures, automated test equipment (ATE), and data acquisition systems to validate product safety, performance, and compliance.
  • Write comprehensive, detailed test reports documenting test environments, procedures, raw data, and finalized results.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a highly related technical field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience, with proven experience in reading schematics, board debugging, and PCB layout.
  • Expert familiarity with precision soldering equipment (hot air rework stations, fine-tip irons) and electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers).
  • Exceptional board-level troubleshooting logic, strong technical writing capability, excellent manual dexterity, and a keen eye for detail.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
