The posting

  • Assist Accounting Manager and Controller with day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, financial reporting, product costing, and results analysis.
  • Assist in monitoring, analyzing, preparing and reporting financial performance.
  • Calculate/file sales and use tax monthly.
  • Assist with month-end/year-end closing entries and reconciliation.
  • Assist with yearly audit.
  • Assist with general ledger entries, identifying fluctuations and root causes; and reconciling and balancing accounts.
  • Assist with preparation of annual operating plan for operations.
  • Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent; preferably in Accounting, Finance or other closely related field
  • 4+ years relevant accounting experience; preferably within a similar manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of accounting/auditing principles and practices
  • Knowledge of fixed assets in a manufacturing setting.
  • Expert technology and computer skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
