Kolosso is looking for an experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team!
If you have a strong understanding of collision repair, enjoy working with customers, and have an eye for detail, we want to talk to you. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will play a critical role in guiding customers through the repair process while ensuring accurate estimates, clear communication, and a great customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Inspect damaged vehicles and determine the extent of repairs needed.
- Prepare accurate and detailed collision repair estimates.
- Work with customers to explain recommended repairs, timelines, and the repair process.
- Communicate with insurance companies, adjusters, technicians, parts personnel, and other departments.
- Document vehicle damage with photographs and detailed notes.
- Research repair procedures and ensure estimates follow manufacturer and industry guidelines.
- Review estimates with technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are identified.
- Supplement estimates when additional damage is discovered during the repair process.
- Monitor repair progress and communicate updates to customers and insurance partners.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the repair process.
- Help ensure repairs are completed safely, correctly, and according to quality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service from the initial estimate through vehicle delivery.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and positive work environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous automotive collision/body shop experience preferred.
- Experience writing collision repair estimates preferred.
- Strong understanding of vehicle construction and collision repair processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technicians, customers, insurance companies, and management.
- Ability to manage multiple repair orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computers and estimating software.
- A professional attitude and commitment to doing the job right.
