The posting

Applications for this position will be accepted through 11/26/26. Koniag Technology Solutions, inc a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Salesforce Developer to support KTS and our government customer. The position is remote.

Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits and tuition reimbursement. The Salesforce Developer will design, build, and test Salesforce features for the ERAS Platform. You will work closely with the USDA Product Owner, designers, and other engineers. Your work will support case management, workflows, and system connections (APIs) that track environmental reviews across many USDA agencies. Key Responsibilities:

Build and configure Salesforce solutions for the ERAS Platform, including case management features. Support a multi-tenant design that can handle cases from many USDA agencies, programs, and services. Build and maintain APIs so USDA mission systems can send review requests and get results back. Help create workflows that administrators can update, using tools like Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) or similar. Connect Salesforce with other platform parts, such as the document library, policy-as-code engine, and geospatial systems. Write clean, tested code. Meet the 90% test coverage standard and the project's linting rules. Take part in sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives. Work with user researchers and designers to turn user needs into working features. Make sure work meets Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 (Levels A and AA) accessibility standards. Follow secure coding practices, including OWASP standards, and fix security issues found in testing. Use GitHub for version control and support automated builds and deployments through CI/CD tools. Write clear documentation, including code comments, dependency lists, and system diagrams. Protect government data, including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and personally identifiable information (PII). Report security concerns right away, within 60 minutes of discovery.

Required Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform (confirm for "Mid" level). Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce flows. Experience building and using REST APIs and system integrations. Experience working on an agile team (Scrum or similar). Experience with GitHub and CI/CD practices. Knowledge of secure coding and web accessibility standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to obtain and keep a Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) low-risk clearance, or moderate-risk if handling PII, and a PIV card. Ability to use multi-factor authentication and a government-furnished laptop when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I or II (not required by the PWS; add if desired). Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud or other federal projects. Experience with case management or workflow tools. Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript, and with Python, Ruby, or similar languages. Experience with cloud.gov or other FedRAMP-approved cloud environments. Knowledge of NEPA, environmental review, or USDA processes. Experience with AI-enabled tools, including safeguards for their use.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
