Our focus is on managing Australian and cross‑border tax obligations arising from employee mobility, including expatriate tax, foreign payroll, and equity‑based remuneration.

Your Opportunity

As a Director, you will lead the delivery of tax focused global mobility solutions, advising multinational organisations and internationally mobile employees on tax matters, compliance risk, and remuneration structuring. You will combine hands-on tax advisory work with technical leadership, client relationship management, and team development, working closely with the Delivery & Data Excellence (DDX) team to deliver high-quality, efficient outcomes.

You will work extensively with multinational organisations (including large global employers), high‑net‑worth individuals, and senior executives relocating to Australia, supporting both the organisation and the individual through the full mobility lifecycle.

How You Are Extraordinary

You are a values led leader who:

  • You are a kind and compassionate leader with a passion for continually growing your leadership skills to get the best out of a diverse and multidisciplinary team.
  • You are tuned in to business development opportunities, with confidence creating effective sales material including proposals, case studies, and other sector-specific material.
  • You actively seek out opportunities for growth, are comfortable challenging the status quo, and enjoy getting out of your comfort zone.

Your Experience

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Strong experience in Global Mobility and expatriate tax advisory.
  • Proven ability to advise internationally mobile employees and senior executives on Australian tax obligations, residency, remuneration structures, and salary packaging.
  • Solid understanding of foreign and expatriate payroll, shadow payroll, and employee share scheme (ESS) reporting across cross‑border arrangements.
  • Experience supporting large multinational clients, managing complex compliance and advisory requirements.
  • Demonstrated capability overseeing and reviewing high‑quality technical tax compliance deliverables.
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills, acting as a trusted adviser and escalation point.
  • Proven business development capability, including building client networks, identifying growth opportunities, and contributing to proposals and market‑facing material.
  • Proven leadership experience, including developing high performing teams and driving quality, collaborative outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Ideally hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Tax, Commerce, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
  • OR Postgraduate qualification in Tax or International Tax (e.g. Masters of Taxation, LLM Tax) is highly regarded.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
