Budapest is the host to KPMG Global Services Hungary (KGSH), KPMG’s international compliance services center, which offers VAT compliance and Accounting solutions, and multicultural compliance professionals, who can provide coverage in more than 40 countries with relevant language and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing VAT returns and other tax-related reports prepared by junior colleagues
  • Acting as a mentor for 3-5 people in the group
  • Gaining insight into various industries by working with well-known multinational corporations in Europe
  • Keeping contact with tax authorities abroad and supporting clients
  • Focal point for internal departments in VAT-related questions
  • Participation in projects like process improvement, digitalization, and automation

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of EU VAT Compliance work experience
  • Detailed knowledge of European value-added tax (VAT) regulations is required
  • Strong written and spoken English language knowledge
  • Advanced Excel and good computer skills
  • Precision and reliability, pro-active personality
