This role supports ongoing operations, enhancements, and issue resolution across SOM and its integrated components — including Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and Contract Accounting (FI-CA) — ensuring accurate billing, revenue optimization, and seamless order-to-cash processes for clients in industries such as telecommunications, utilities, and media

Subscription Order & Contract Management

  • Manage the end-to-end subscription order lifecycle: order capture, contract creation, modifications, renewals, and extensions using order types PRVO (Subscription Order), PRVC (Subscription Contract), PRPO (Pattern Agreement), and SRVP
  • Maintain and support provider contracts, including billing plan configuration, discount management, and contractual charge setup via transaction codes /nCAA1 (Contract Account) and /nFP_VT3 (Subscription Contract)
  • Handle contract change processes, B2B master agreements, and partner agreements within the SOM system

Master Data & Configuration Support

  • Maintain Business Partner master data with appropriate role assignments: FLCU01 (Customer Role), FLCU00 (FI Customer Role), and MKK (Contract Partner Role for FI-CA integration)
  • Support SPRO configuration under Service → Transactions → Settings for Subscription Transactions and Service → Master Data → Settings for Subscription Master Data

Integration & Billing Operations

  • Support replication of SOM objects (Business Partners, Contract Accounts, Subscription Contracts) to FI-CA and SAP Convergent Charging (CC) via the common object layer
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ODI framework, cross-catalogue mapping, and provider contract replication processes

Production Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Perform defect analysis, issue resolution, and root cause investigation across SOM, CC, CI, and FI-CA
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, and regression testing including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Prepare functional specifications, business process documentation, and knowledge transfer materials
  • Provide a 360° view of customer interactions across the order-to-cash process to support service agents and business stakeholders

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, technical teams, and BASIS administrators to deliver end-to-end managed services

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP BRIM SOM, including subscription lifecycle management, order and contract management, and billing integration
  • Experience with product modelling, rate plan configuration, sales package setup, and combo product master data in SOM
  • Familiarity with B2B master agreements, partner agreements, and the ODI framework/common object layer
  • Understanding of SPRO customizing paths for SOM configuration (IMG → Service)

Experience Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of overall SAP experience; 2+ years of direct SAP BRIM SOM experience
  • Participation in at least one full-lifecycle SAP BRIM implementation
  • Experience with requirement gathering, configuration, prototyping, architecture finalization, and functional/business role design [1]

Preferred Skills

  • Industry experience in telecommunications, utilities, media, or subscription-based businesses
  • Exposure in Managed Services environment

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.
