The posting

Curious about how leading organizations make smarter buying decisions? Join our Procurement Advisory team and help clients transform the way they work with suppliers, use data, and leverage digital tools to create measurable business value. From day one, you'll be involved in projects that make a real impact, turning complex challenges into practical improvements.

About the role

Procurement is changing quickly. Organizations are using data, AI, automation and digital platforms to make better decisions, improve supplier collaboration and create more resilient operations. As a Consultant in Procurement Advisory, you will help clients navigate that change while building a solid foundation in consulting, sourcing and source-to-pay transformation.

You will work alongside experienced colleagues on projects across the entire sourcing process, from analysis and strategy to implementation and governance, contributing to impactful projects across both private and public organizations. You will help design and deliver solutions that improve procurement performance and support strategic objectives. You will play a key role in translating data and technology into actionable insights while becoming part of an environment where professionalism, innovation, and collaboration go hand in hand.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Analyze procurement processes, spend and supplier information, and turn findings into clear recommendations e.g. through business cases, sourcing strategies or outsourcing models.
  • Support the design and implementation of procurement strategies, future-fit operating models, processes and digital solutions.
  • Explore how AI, automation, analytics and procurement technologies can improve transparency, decision-making and performance across sourcing and procurement processes.

Perks of joining Procurement Advisory

Our team combines procurement expertise, business transformation and technology. This means you will not be limited to analyzing a problem or writing a strategy. You will also help translate recommendations into processes, operating models and solutions that can work in practice.

Learn by doing: You will take part in real client work from the beginning, with guidance from colleagues who will help you build confidence and increase your responsibility over time.

Work across disciplines: You will collaborate with procurement & sourcing specialists, technology consultants, data experts and international colleagues from across KPMG, giving you broad exposure while you develop a clear functional specialism.

Shape a growing area: You will join a close and motivated team where ideas are welcomed, knowledge is shared and junior colleagues are encouraged to contribute to client delivery, proposals and the continued development of our services.

About you, our new team member

You enjoy working with people and building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and cross-functional teams. You thrive in a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, teamwork, and mutual support are valued. At the same time, you appreciate a positive and social workplace where professional excellence and having fun go hand in hand.

More specifically, we are looking for someone who:

  • Is curious about how organizations and their procurement functions operate.
  • Enjoys turning complex information into clear and actionable transformation stories.
  • Has an interest in sourcing, outsourcing, supplier management and/or procurement.
  • Brings solid analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving.
  • Is motivated to learn, take initiative and develop your expertise over time.
  • Is fluent in English, with Danish language skills considered an advantage.
  • Holds or are expected to complete a relevant master's degree before Autumn 2027.

KPMG Advisory Academy

Are you ready to become part of KPMG? Send your application today!

The application deadline is 15 November, but we review applications on an ongoing basis and may close the process earlier - so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Interviews are expected to take place in November and December.

All we need from you is your CV, transcript, and a cover letter (a one-page document in which you answer the following three questions). How you choose to respond is entirely up to you - your answers will help us get to know you better and provide a basis for further discussion in a potential interview.

The questions are:

  • Tell us about a situation where you used data or structured analysis to understand a complex problem. What did you do, and what did you learn?
  • Procurement transformation often requires business, people and technology to work together. Which part interests you most, and why?
  • Describe a time when you worked with others to deliver a result under changing priorities or an unfamiliar set of circumstances. How did you contribute?

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Senior consultant, Sascha Hjort at [email protected].

Please note that we do not accept applications by e-mail to ensure GDPR compliance.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
