Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst will support global business process improvement and transformation initiatives across Kroll's Cyber business. Based in Bangalore, this role will work directly with global business stakeholders to assess existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, define future-state requirements, and support the implementation of practical, sustainable solutions.

The position requires a proactive and independent professional who can lead business analysis activities, challenge existing ways of working, and translate complex operational challenges into actionable improvements. The role will also coordinate change management activities to support stakeholder readiness, implementation, and adoption of new processes and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Improvement and Analysis

  • Lead assessments of existing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, control gaps, root causes, and opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and develop future-state processes and actionable improvement recommendations.
  • Partner with process owners, Solution Architects, and the Lean Six Sigma Leader to support process redesign, implementation, and continuous improvement.

Business Requirements and Solution Delivery

  • Own business analysis and requirements activities throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery through implementation.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional, process, data, and reporting requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Solution Architects, and delivery teams to evaluate solutions, resolve requirements, and support testing and implementation.
  • Ensure solutions address underlying business problems and align with operational objectives.

Change Management and Business Adoption

  • Assess the impact of proposed changes on business processes, roles, and stakeholders, identifying potential adoption challenges.
  • Coordinate change management activities for assigned initiatives, including stakeholder communications, training needs, and implementation readiness.
  • Work with business leaders and process owners to build stakeholder understanding, address concerns, and facilitate the adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Support the development of training materials, user guidance, and knowledge-transfer activities.
  • Gather post-implementation feedback, monitor adoption, and recommend improvements to help sustain changes.

Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, quantify inefficiencies, establish performance baselines, and support data-driven recommendations.
  • Define and monitor KPIs and success measures to evaluate process improvements and validate business benefits.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and management insights using Excel, Power BI, and relevant enterprise data sources.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and work with process owners to identify additional opportunities for optimization and ensure improvements are sustained.

Stakeholder Engagement and Delivery Support

  • Build effective relationships with business leaders, process owners, Technology, Finance, Operations, and other global stakeholders.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, risks, and decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and other delivery resources to coordinate dependencies, resolve issues, and support successful implementation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to independently engage and influence senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and drive assigned activities to completion with limited supervision.
  • Provide guidance to junior analysts and contribute to the development of consistent business analysis practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of business analysis experience, preferably supporting process improvement, operational transformation, or technology-enabled change.
  • Demonstrated experience independently leading complex business analysis activities, including process assessment, requirements definition, and stakeholder facilitation.
  • Experience supporting business change initiatives, including stakeholder impact assessments, communications, training coordination, and adoption of new processes or systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience using operational data to develop recommendations and measure business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience working with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technology, Operations, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma or structured process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Salesforce, workflow automation, or other enterprise technology platforms.
  • Experience supporting business transformation initiatives involving significant process or organizational change.
  • Familiarity with structured change management methodologies.

Measures of Success

  • Delivery of high-quality analysis, requirements, and process improvement recommendations that address business needs.
  • Successful implementation and adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Demonstrable improvements in operational efficiency, quality, controls, or other defined business outcomes.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement, implementation readiness, and transition to sustainable business ownership.
  • Proactive identification of additional improvement opportunities and contribution to continuous improvement across Cyber.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
