Als Teamleader Automation Engineer combineer je technische expertise in automatisatie en elektromechanica met het coachen en aansturen van een engineeringteam. Je werkt zelf actief mee aan innovatieve projecten rond elektrificatie van mobiele machines, mechatronica en IoT-integraties en bewaakt tegelijkertijd scope, planning, kwaliteit en klantverwachtingen. Een ideale functie voor een ervaren Automation Engineer die technisch betrokken wil blijven én verantwoordelijkheid wil opnemen over mensen en projecten.Functie omschrijving

  • Je leidt en coacht een team van automation engineers en junior engineers en stimuleert samenwerking, kennisdeling en technische ontwikkeling.
  • Je bepaalt samen met de klant de technische projectscope en volgt projecten op van engineering en ontwikkeling tot implementatie en oplevering.
  • Je werkt hands-on mee aan automatisatieprojecten en ondersteunt het team bij complexe technische vraagstukken rond PLC, elektrische engineering en mechatronica.
  • Je bewaakt projectplanning, deadlines, technische kwaliteit en voortgang en communiceert hierover duidelijk met klanten en interne stakeholders.
  • Je analyseert en lost technische problemen op tijdens zowel de ontwerp- als uitvoeringsfase en stuurt het engineeringproces bij waar nodig.
  • Je stimuleert innovatie en vertaalt nieuwe technologieën naar praktische oplossingen voor mobiele machines en industriële toepassingen.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor of master Elektromechanica, Automatisering, Industriële Ingenieurswetenschappen of een gelijkwaardige technische achtergrond.
  • Je hebt relevante ervaring binnen automation engineering, machinebouw, mobiele machines, mechatronica of een vergelijkbare technische omgeving.
  • Je beschikt over goede kennis van PLC-programmering en Structured Text en hebt een sterk inzicht in elektrische engineering.
  • Ervaring met elektrisch ontwerp en EPLAN is een sterke troef; kennis van elektrificatie, IoT of mobiele machines vormt een bijkomende meerwaarde.
  • Je hebt ervaring met het aansturen van engineers of bent een ervaren engineer met de ambitie en persoonlijkheid om een technisch team te leiden.
  • Je combineert een hands-on mentaliteit met leiderschap, probleemoplossend vermogen, klantgerichtheid en het vermogen om onder tijdsdruk kwaliteit te leveren.
