Ben je mechanisch sterk en slaag je erin complexe techniek helder en gestructureerd uit te leggen? Als Technical Writer / Mechanical Documentation Engineer vertaal je de werking en assemblage van hoogtechnologische machines naar duidelijke technische documentatie, gebruikershandleidingen en montage-instructies. Je werkt nauw samen met Design Engineers en technische specialisten en zorgt ervoor dat documentatie technisch correct, gebruiksvriendelijk én uniform is.Functie omschrijving

  • Je stelt technische gebruikershandleidingen, montage-instructies en andere documentatie op voor complexe en hoogtechnologische machines.
  • Je verdiept je in de mechanische werking, assemblage en technische opbouw van machines en vertaalt deze informatie naar duidelijke en logisch opgebouwde documentatie.
  • Je werkt intensief samen met Design Engineers en andere technische experts om alle technische informatie correct te verzamelen en te valideren.
  • Je analyseert bestaande handleidingen en documentatie en herschrijft, actualiseert en optimaliseert deze waar nodig.
  • Je zorgt voor een consistente structuur, terminologie en technische schrijfstijl en bouwt mee aan uniforme templates en documentatiestandaarden.
  • Je bewaakt de technische juistheid, volledigheid en gebruiksvriendelijkheid van documentatie en zorgt dat deze aansluit bij de behoeften van montage, service en eindgebruikers.
  • Je beschikt over een technische achtergrond in Mechanica, Elektromechanica, Machinebouw of een vergelijkbare richting, door opleiding of relevante ervaring.
  • Je hebt een sterk mechanisch inzicht en begrijpt fijne mechaniek, assemblages, technische tekeningen, toleranties en de werking van machineonderdelen.
  • Je hebt ervaring met het opstellen of beheren van technische documentatie, montagehandleidingen, werkinstructies of gebruikersmanuals.
  • Je bent in staat complexe technische informatie te analyseren en om te zetten naar duidelijke, gestructureerde en praktisch bruikbare instructies.
  • Je beschikt over uitstekende schriftelijke kennis van het Engels en communiceert vlot met engineers en andere technische stakeholders.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en zelfstandig, maar zoekt actief de samenwerking met engineering om technische informatie volledig en correct te documenteren.
