Lorry Driver – Job Scope

  1. Operate the company lorry safely to transport goods, materials, tools, and equipment to designated locations.
  2. Carry out loading and unloading of goods and materials when required.
  3. Ensure goods are properly secured during transportation.
  4. Follow the assigned delivery schedule and routes.
  5. Assist with the collection and delivery of materials to construction sites, factories, warehouses, or customer locations.
  6. Conduct basic vehicle inspections and ensure the lorry is clean and in good working condition.
  7. Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
  8. Maintain delivery records, collect signatures, and complete relevant documents where necessary.
  9. Comply with Singapore traffic regulations, road safety requirements, and company procedures.
  10. Assist with general duties related to transportation and logistics as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence (or the appropriate licence for the vehicle).
  • Familiarity with Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
  • Physically fit to assist with loading and unloading, where required.
  • Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
