Voor een sterk groeiende IT-organisatie in de regio Brugge zoek ik een IT System Engineer die mee wil bouwen aan het verdere IT-verhaal. Het bedrijf telt ondertussen meer dan 100 medewerkers en ontwikkelt oplossingen die wereldwijd worden gebruikt om bedrijfsprocessen te vereenvoudigen. Door de internationale groei en verdere uitbreiding van de organisatie wordt ook de interne IT-afdeling de komende jaren versterkt. Zo staan er voor 2027 concrete uitbreidingsplannen op de agenda.Je komt terecht in een compacte, ervaren IT-omgeving waar korte communicatielijnen en een persoonlijke aanpak centraal staan. Er is ruimte om initiatief te nemen, technische verbeteringen voor te stellen en op lange termijn mee te bouwen aan een IT-omgeving die klaar is voor de verdere groei van het bedrijf.

Jobomschrijving

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Serverbeheer: Je beheert en onderhoudt virtuele serveromgevingen en werkt met Windows Server en/of Linux. Je optimaliseert en volgt de infrastructuur op.
  • Netwerkbeheer: Je beheert netwerken met TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, NAT, Wi-Fi en SD-WAN. Je analyseert en lost netwerkproblemen op.
  • Virtualisatie: Je werkt met VMware ESXi, Hyper-V of Proxmox en onderhoudt de virtuele serveromgevingen.
  • Cloud en automatisatie: Je werkt mee aan cloudmigraties en infrastructuurverbeteringen in Azure en AWS. Daarnaast denk je mee over automatisatie met PowerShell, Bash of Ansible.
  • Technische projecten: Je werkt mee aan infrastructuurprojecten, migraties, nieuwe serveromgevingen en optimalisaties.
  • Technische ondersteuning: Je analyseert en verhelpt complexere infrastructuurproblemen en ondersteunt collega's bij technische uitdagingen.

Wat verwachten zij van jou?

  • Je beschikt bij voorkeur over een bachelor IT en minstens 4 jaar relevante ervaring binnen systeembeheer, IT-infrastructuur of networking.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van Windows Server, virtualisatie en netwerkbeheer. Ervaring met VMware, Hyper-V of Proxmox is een plus.
  • Je hebt een brede kennis van networking (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, NAT en Wi-Fi). Kennis van Azure, AWS, Linux, Docker of SD-WAN is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je hebt interesse in scripting en automatisatie. Ervaring met PowerShell, Bash of Ansible is een troef.
  • Je bent analytisch, zelfstandig en verantwoordelijk ingesteld. Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
