The Role

Your Role:

As a Senior Workday Integration Consultant, you will provide technical leadership for the design, development, deployment, and optimization of enterprise Workday integrations across HCM, Financials, and Professional Services Automation (PSA). You will partner with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions while driving modernization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the Workday landscape.

What Will You Do:

  • Lead the design, development, deployment, and optimization of Workday inbound, outbound, and boomerang integrations across HCM, Financials, and PSA domains.
  • Conduct integration workshops with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable integration solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Design and implement integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connectors, Web Services APIs, middleware platforms, and Workday Extend capabilities.
  • Manage and support Workday releases, enhancements, upgrades, and integration lifecycle activities while ensuring minimal business disruption.
  • Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and resolution for complex integration, data, workflow, and platform issues.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide Workday technical specialists while promoting knowledge sharing, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business, HR, Finance, PSA, and technology teams to ensure successful delivery of integration initiatives within scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
  • Manage integration roadmaps, RAID logs, status reporting, risk mitigation activities, and stakeholder communications across multiple projects and support engagements.

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience, including significant hands-on experience in Workday Integration development, support, and solution delivery.
  • Deep expertise in Workday Integration technologies, including Workday Studio, EIB, Web Services APIs, Cloud Connectors, PECI, Report Writer, and Enterprise Interface design.
  • Strong experience with Workday Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, and Workday reporting solutions.
  • Hands-on experience developing and supporting Workday Extend applications, workflows, integrations, and custom business solutions.
  • Strong integration experience using XML, XSLT, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware solutions such as Informatica, and enterprise integration technologies.
  • Experience supporting Workday HCM, Financials, and Professional Services Automation (PSA) integrations within complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience leading integration projects, managing stakeholders, conducting workshops, troubleshooting critical production issues, and driving successful delivery outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:

  • Knowledge and experience with Workday Orchestrate for workflow automation and integration orchestration.
  • Experience designing integrations across cloud, hybrid, and enterprise application ecosystems using modern integration architectures.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and modern engineering practices.
  • Certification in Workday Integration, Workday Extend, or related Workday technical specializations preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is highly desirable.
