The posting

Als Transport Specialist heb je een unieke positie binnen onze transport & warehouse omgeving. In deze nieuwe functie krijg je de ruimte om processen vorm te geven, optimalisaties door te voeren en een directe impact te hebben op service, efficiëntie en transportkosten.

Je werkt vanuit onze productievestiging in Erpe-Mere en rapporteert aan de Warehouse Manager van de business unit Frozen Benelux.

Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten onder meer:

  • Dagelijks opmaken van de transportplanning voor de fijndistributie in de Belux-regio en optimaliseren waar nodig. Je stemt hiervoor frequent af met de warehousesupervisors, operations, customer service en transporteurs.
  • Bewaken van de transportcapaciteit en proactief anticiperen op pieken en afwijkingen.
  • Optimaliseren van beladingen en ritten binnen de fijndistributie.
  • Opvolgen van transportprestaties en KPI's, en vertalen van inzichten naar verbeteracties. Je detecteert operationele knelpunten en werkt structurele oplossingen uit.
  • Documenteren van processen en werkinstructies in kader van verdere standaardisatie. Je denkt actief na over efficiëntere werkmethodes en optimalisaties.
  • Controleren en goedkeuren van transportfacturen.
  • Beheren van de administratieve verwerking van palletstromen in SAP.
  • Bachelor of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Minimum 3 à 5 jaar relevante ervaring als planner binnen transport, logistiek of supply chain in een productieomgeving of operationele logistieke context.
  • De juiste prioriteiten te stellen, ook wanneer meerdere zaken gelijktijdig spelen, is een kolfje naar je hand.
  • Analytisch sterk en in staat om problemen gestructureerd aan te pakken. Je combineert vlot helicopterview met oog voor detail.
  • Je neemt initiatief en wacht niet af tot wanneer uitdagingen zich voordoen.
  • Comfortabel in de context van een nieuwe functie waarin je processen mee uittekent en optimaliseert.
  • Goede communicatievaardigheden t.a.v. collega's, klanten, chauffeurs en externe partners. Je bouwt gemakkelijk samenwerkingen uit.
  • Goede kennis van Excel en vlot met transportplanningstools.
  • Professioneel vlot in het Nederlands en Engels. Kennis van Frans is een plus.
  • Bereid om in 2 ploegen te werken (8-16u en 12-20u).
