The posting

Onze secundaire school LAB Sint-Niklaas startte 5 jaar geleden met 200 leerlingen en telt intussen 680 leerlingen van het eerste tot het zesde middelbaar. We bieden richtingen in doorstroomfinaliteit (humane wetenschappen, moderne talen en natuurwetenschappen) en arbeidsmarktfinaliteit (Zorg en Welzijn en Basiszorg en Ondersteuning).

Als zorgcoach sta je midden in de schoolwerking. Je ondersteunt leerlingen en ouders, maar je belangrijkste opdracht ligt bij het versterken van coaches, leerkrachten en teams. Je helpt collega’s om zorgnoden beter te begrijpen, gepast te handelen en duidelijke afspraken te maken en op te volgen.

Je werkt nauw samen met directie, graadcoördinatoren, andere zorgcoaches, CLB, leerondersteuners en externe partners. Je beweegt tussen beleid en praktijk: je bouwt mee aan sterke brede basiszorg en ondersteunt tegelijk concrete leerlingentrajecten.

Dit is geen therapeutische functie en ook geen louter uitvoerende zorgfunctie. Je neemt een coachende, beleidsmatige en verbindende rol op. Je zorgt ervoor dat zorg warm en nabij blijft, maar ook helder, haalbaar en professioneel opgevolgd wordt.

We zoeken iemand met een sterk hart voor leerlingen én een goed begrip van teamwerking. Goede zorg begint voor ons niet bij alles zelf oplossen, maar bij het versterken van de mensen rond de leerling.

Je bent warm en nabij, maar ook duidelijk en rolvast. Je gelooft in hoge verwachtingen, groeikansen en zorgzame begrenzing.

Je werkt gestructureerd en zorgvuldig. Je houdt overzicht, stelt prioriteiten, volgt afspraken op en communiceert tijdig.

Je bent sterk in afstemming. Je weet wanneer je zelfstandig kan handelen en wanneer overleg nodig is.

Je bent discreet en betrouwbaar. Als zorgcoach maak je deel uit van het ruimere beleidsteam van de school. Dat vraagt maturiteit, professionele loyaliteit en zorgvuldigheid in communicatie.

Je hebt zelfreflectie en leerbereidheid. Je kan feedback ontvangen, kritisch naar jezelf kijken en wil groeien in een complexe maar betekenisvolle functie.

Wij zoeken:

  • Een zorgcoach met een master in de pedagogische wetenschappen, master in de psychologie, bachelor orthopedagogie, of een therapeutische opleiding (psychotherapeut, logopedie, ergotherapie, etc.).
  • Een getuigschrift/diploma pedagogische bekwaamheid is noodzakelijk.
  • Duidelijke expertise en ervaring in leer- en ontwikkelingsstoornissen bij kinderen.
  • Ervaring in het onderwijs (bij voorkeur in zorg of een lesopdracht) is een pluspunt, maar geen vereiste.
