Wil jij je technische kennis inzetten dicht bij zowel ontwerp als uitvoering? En werk je graag in een team waar samenwerking en technische kwaliteit centraal staan? Dan is deze rol op je lijf geschreven.In regio Gent kom je terecht bij een middelgrote onderneming met een 35-tal medewerkers, gespecialiseerd in maatwerk staalconstructies. Het bedrijf combineert een eigen tekenbureau met productie en montage, waardoor projecten volledig intern van ontwerp tot realisatie worden opgevolgd. Dankzij deze geïntegreerde aanpak kunnen complexe staalconstructies efficiënt en kwalitatief hoogstaand gerealiseerd worden.Door een toenemend aantal projecten en een stijgende technische complexiteit zoeken ze een ervaren Mechanical Designer die zowel het tekenbureau ondersteunt als inhoudelijk betrokken blijft bij het ontwerp en de uitvoering van projecten.Wat houdt de job in?

  • Binnen het tekenbureau ondersteun je een team van 4 technische tekenaars en zorg je voor een vlotte samenwerking en taakverdeling
  • Je bewaakt de planning en verdeelt taken efficiënt zodat projecten volgens schema en kwaliteitsnormen vooruitgaan
  • Bij complexere ontwerpen denk je actief mee over technische oplossingen en bied je gerichte ondersteuning aan je team
  • Regelmatig ga je naar de werf om opmetingen uit te voeren en te controleren, zodat ontwerpen correct en uitvoerbaar zijn
  • Dagelijks werk je nauw samen met collega’s van productie, montage en projectleiding om ontwerpen praktisch en technisch haalbaar te maken
  • Bachelor- of masterdiploma in een technische richting
  • Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in technische projecten of een ontwerpomgeving, met praktische kennis van Tekla, Inventor of AutoCAD
  • Vlot in Nederlands en Engels, zodat je gemakkelijk kan samenwerken met collega’s, externe partners en leveranciers
