Voor een internationale en sterk groeiende onderneming in de regio Ieper zijn we op zoek naar een Logistics Operations Manager. Je komt terecht in een grootschalige productieomgeving waar logistieke expertise en operationeel leiderschap hand in hand gaan. Dankzij haar sterke positie en voortdurende uitbreidingsplannen blijft ook de logistieke organisatie groeien. Een goed uitgebouwde distributiestrategie en een optimale samenwerking tussen verschillende vestigingen zijn daarbij essentieel.Als Logistics Operations Manager neem je de leiding over de distributieactiviteiten en waak je over een vlotte en kostenefficiënte goederenstroom. Je stuurt teams en processen aan, optimaliseert de transportorganisatie en zorgt ervoor dat producten op het juiste moment en op de juiste bestemming terechtkomen. Daarbij combineer je strategisch inzicht met een sterke operationele betrokkenheid.Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je neemt de volledige verantwoordelijkheid over de logistieke werking van de site en waakt over de prestaties, dagelijkse organisatie en verdere ontwikkeling van de afdeling
  • Als leidinggevende stuur je het logistieke team aan, coach je medewerkers en zorg je voor een sterke en betrokken ploeg die samen resultaten behaalt
  • Van goederenontvangst tot verzending: je bewaakt een veilige, kwalitatieve en vlot georganiseerde goederenstroom en ziet toe op de naleving van alle voorschriften
  • Je beheert de capaciteit en budgetten en gaat actief op zoek naar optimalisaties, digitaliseringsmogelijkheden en kostenbesparingen binnen de logistieke processen
  • In nauwe samenwerking met het management, andere vestigingen en externe partners vertaal je de groepsstrategie naar concrete acties en vertegenwoordig je de logistieke afdeling waar nodig
  • Een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Logistiek, Supply Chain, Industriële Bedrijfskunde, Transport of een aanverwante richting heb je op zak
  • Dankzij jouw ruime ervaring in een leidinggevende logistieke functie weet je hoe je teams en processen succesvol aanstuurt
  • Je drukt je vlot uit in het Nederlands en Frans en beschikt over een goede kennis van het Engels
