Heb jij een ervaring met CNC frezen en heb je een uitgebreide kennis van materialen (bv aluminium, kunststof en metaal)? Wens je daarnaast hands-on te werken binnen de R&D afdeling? Lees dan zeker verder!Voor onze klant, regio Waregem, gaan we op zoek naar een ervaren R&D Tester. Deze onderneming is actief in een hoogtechnologische nichemarkt en onderscheidt zich door haar uitgebreide kennis van technische installaties en infrastructuur. Samen met een team van circa 120 medewerkers realiseert ze dagelijks kwalitatieve en betrouwbare oplossingen voor klanten in een internationale omgeving. De komende jaren wil het bedrijf verder uitbreiden, met ambitieuze plannen op het vlak van omzetgroei en het versterken van haar marktpositie.Om deze groei te ondersteunen, zoekt de onderneming een Prototyper.Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je fungeert als sparringpartner voor je collega’s (ingenieurs) binnen de R&D afdeling
  • Prototypes maken en testen van de producten die de engineers hebben bedacht
  • Je helpt de engineers om hun ontwerp snel en efficiënt te valideren, bijvoorbeeld door het 3D printen van het product of het maken ervan in piepschuim
  • Je weet wanneer een snelle proof-of-concept volstaat en wanneer een hoogwaardig prototype nodig is dat het eindproduct nauwkeurig benadert
  • Het geven van feedback aan de engineers omtrent de maakbaarheid, toleranties en materiaalkeuzes is een belangrijk onderdeel van je takenpakket
  • Je behaalde een A2/Bachelorsdiploma in een technische richting
  • Belangrijker dan je diploma is je ervaring met CNC frezen (absolute must in deze rol)
  • Je hebt een passie voor techniek en hebt een brede kennis/ervaring met verschillende materialen en verspaningstechnieken
  • Naast het Nederlands kan je je ook uitdrukken in het Engels
