The posting

Position is seasonal; depending on applicant status position may be hired through a third party vendor

  • Demonstrated knowledge of basketball fundamentals, rules, strategies, and game management.
  • Ability to teach and develop age-appropriate basketball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and positively support student-athletes with varying skill levels.
  • Commitment to promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Ability to supervise students and maintain appropriate conduct during practices, games, and team activities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school administration, athletic department staff, parents, and other coaches.
  • Must meet all school district requirements for coaching, including background checks and required safety training
