The posting

LIFTING SUPERVISOR

  • Location: Doha, Qatar
  • Duration: 3 Months (extendable)
  • Start Date: Immediately

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in rigging and lifting operations on heavy industrial or power plant projects
  • Experience in crane erection and heavy equipment lifting at power plant facilities
  • Ability to supervise and direct rigging crews during lifting and crane erection operations
  • Strong knowledge of lift plans, load calculations, and risk assessments for critical and complex lifts
  • Proficient in inspection of lifting gear — slings, shackles, hooks, and rigging accessories
  • Familiar with permit-to-work (PTW) systems on industrial sites
  • Compliance with LEEA / LOLER standards
  • LEEA / TUV / Bureau Veritas Rigging/Lifting Supervisor Third Party Certificate — mandatory (minimum 5-day training certificate only will be considered)
  • Immediate joiners with a valid QID only will be considered.
