About the position

Dometic Land Vehicles Americas is a trusted provider of high-end products for recreational vehicles, commercial passenger vehicles and overlanding vehicles in North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean. We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Assembler within Dometic.

As an Assembler in the Big Prairie team, you will be involved in producing the best product for our customers.

General Responsibilities

  • Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints, or work instructions.
  • Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
  • Operates drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.
  • Visually inspects all assembled parts at completion of operation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow personal protective equipment procedures.
  • Work in a non-temperature controlled environment
  • Manual lifting up to 50lbs
  • Standing for entire shift

The ideal candidate for this role will bring demonstrated success in production as well as having acquired the following qualifications and experiences.

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in reading schedules, work instructions, and BOMs.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related field preferred but not required.

This position works onsite at our Big Prairie facility.
