Job Description

The Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for supervising the stewarding team to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, pot washing, and general kitchen cleanliness. This role involves ensuring that all health and safety standards are met, managing the inventory of cleaning supplies, and coordinating with the kitchen staff to support efficient kitchen operations. Responsibilities

 Supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen stewarding team.

 Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing and pot washing.

 Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and order as needed.

 Train and manage stewarding staff, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

 Coordinate with kitchen staff to support efficient kitchen operations.

 Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.

 Assist in the preparation and execution of special events and banquets.

 Handle any maintenance or repair issues related to kitchen equipment.

 Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures.

 Provide regular reports to the kitchen management team.  الإشراف على وتنسيق أنشطة فريق الإشراف على المطبخ.

Qualifications

 Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant.

 Strong understanding of kitchen sanitation and health and safety standards.

 Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

 Ability to manage and train staff effectively.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

 Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and chemicals.

 High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

 Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.  خبرة مثبتة في دور مماثل، ويفضل في فندق أو مطعم.
