Konkurss uz pētnieka amatu LU Cietvielu fizikas institūtā, reģ. Nr. 90002124925

Amata mērķis:

Zinātniskās pētniecības darbs fizikālās ķīmijas, materiālu fizikas un ķīmijas jomā. Projektā "Bateriju aizsargpārklājumi un operando raksturošana (LACISE)"

Galvenie pienākumi:

• Izstrādāt un optimizēt inertus pārklājumus slāņveida Li-jonu un P2 tipa Na-jonu katodēm;

• Pielāgot pārklājuma biezumu, sastāvu un sintēzes metodes (ķīmiskās un mehāniskās);

• Novērtēt pārklājuma stabilitāti un tā elektroķimisko ietekmi Operando un degradācijas pētījumi;

• Izstrādāt un pielietot in-situ, operando un post-mortem raksturošanu, lai pētītu strukturālo degradāciju, saskares izmaiņas un gāzu izdalīšanos

(operando XRD, sinhrotrona XAS, SEM/TEM, XPS, ICP, Ramana spektroskopija);

• Pētīt un dokumentēt atradumus, lai uzlabotu materiālus iteratīvi ;

• Strādāt cieši kopā ar Šveices PSI partneriem un plašāko LACISE darba grupu;

• Publicēt darba rezultātus augstas ietekmes izdevumos un prezentēt starptautiskās konferencēs.

Prasības kandidātiem:

• Maģistra grāds ķīmijā, materiālu zinātnē, fizikā, ķīmijas inženierzinātnē vai radniecīgā jomā

• Tiesības iestāties doktora programmā Latvijas Universitātē

• Spēcīga vēlme veikt augstas ietekmes pētniecību

• Spēja strādāt patstāvīgi un sekmīgi darboties starptautiskā komandā

• Lieliskas rakstīšanas un runas prasmes angļu valodā (Starptautisks projekts, kura ietvaros pētnieciskais darbs notiek ciešā sadarbībā ar starptautiskiem partneriem, pētījuma darba rezultāti tiek publicēti augstas ietekmes izdevumos un prezentēti starptautiskās konferencēs. Darba procesā tie izmantota ārzemju zinātniskā literatūra.)

Ļoti vēlamas prasības kandidātiem:

• Pieredze elektroķīmijā vai funkcionālo materiālu pētniecībā

• Iepriekšēja pieredze in-situ vai operando raksturošanā;

• Pieredze ar sinhrotrona metod
