Resident Assistant – Assisted Living CBRF (Non‑Exempt)Join our caring team and make a real difference in the lives of residents in a supportive, home-like environment. This role provides hands-on care, promotes independence, and ensures the safety and well‑being of individuals in our assisted living community. What You’ll Do• Assist residents with personal care, daily living tasks, and housekeeping• Prepare meals, support dining, and follow individualized diet plans• Administer medications and treatments according to the Five Rights• Monitor, document, and report changes in resident condition• Support therapy plans and recreational activities• Transport residents to appointments and community events• Maintain a clean, safe, respectful environment• Protect resident rights and confidentiality• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques What We’re Looking For• Compassionate, dependable individuals committed to excellent care• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions• Comfortable working with individuals with dementia, mental illness, or developmental disabilities• Preferred experience in RCAC or CBRF settings• For CBRF roles: completion of DHS 83 core courses (or willingness to complete)• Valid driver's license (if transporting residents)• Must pass background check and be at least 18 years old Physical Requirements• Frequent walking/standing• Ability to lift 35 lbs and assist with transfers up to 50 lbs• Ability to push wheelchairs up to 250 lbs If you’re a team‑oriented, compassionate caregiver who wants to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to meet you!
