KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct market, policy, regulatory, sustainability, and commercial analysis to inform project development and investment decisions.
  • Support utility-scale renewable energy, storage, hybrid, and grid-connected infrastructure projects from screening through construction readiness.
  • Support interconnection and transmission activities, including queue tracking, application preparation, study review, network upgrade analysis, milestone tracking, and coordination with utilities, ISOs, RTOs, and transmission providers.
  • Analyze RTO/ISO market rules, interconnection requirements, transmission planning, congestion, curtailment, capacity value, ancillary services, market reforms, and regional development risks.
  • Coordinate with engineering and construction teams on site layouts, plant design assumptions, generation profiles, equipment selection, constructability, schedules, cost estimates, and pre-construction requirements.
  • Support origination, market screening, site evaluation, permitting strategy, environmental review, stakeholder engagement, local government coordination, and development milestone management.
  • Maintain project schedules, dashboards, interconnection trackers, market summaries, consultant scopes, risk registers, budgets, and internal updates.
  • Support acquisitions, co-development opportunities, and M&A diligence by assessing development status, interconnection position, permitting risk, engineering assumptions, construction readiness, market fundamentals, schedule, budget, and key commercial inputs.
  • Coordinate RFPs, consultant deliverables, technical reports, land and environmental studies, engineering work products, interconnection materials, and market research.
  • Support financial feasibility analysis by providing assumptions for development costs, interconnection costs, schedules, permitting, production, storage configuration, tax incentives, market participation, and commercial risks.
  • Prepare written updates and presentation materials for management, investment reviews, project approvals, partner discussions, stakeholder meetings, and executive reporting.
  • Help coordinate relationships with consultants, engineers, landowners, local officials, community stakeholders, utilities, RTOs/ISOs, transmission providers, developers, EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Track technology, policy, market, interconnection, transmission, sustainability, and industry trends affecting renewable energy, storage, hybrid, and broader energy infrastructure projects.
  • Promote safety, integrity, accountability, collaboration, analytical rigor, and commercial discipline across project activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in engineering, energy systems, environmental science, sustainability, economics, public policy, business, finance, planning, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in renewable energy, energy storage, sustainability, energy policy, power markets, utility-scale development, interconnection, transmission, consulting, IPP, utility, EPC, or project acquisitions.
  • Experience supporting development, evaluation, or analysis of renewable energy, storage, hybrid, generation, transmission-related, or other grid-connected projects.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. energy policy, energy transition trends, sustainability frameworks, decarbonization drivers, corporate clean energy procurement, and relevant regulatory developments.
  • Familiarity with U.S. RTO/ISO or utility markets, including ERCOT, SPP, MISO, PJM, CAISO, WECC, NYISO, ISO-NE, or other regional markets.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
