Summary:

Functions as a skilled technician, who diagnoses and repairs in all areas, while taking pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving complex problems and being apart of a professional service team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
  • Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
  • Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
  • Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
  • Road tests vehicles when required.
  • Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians to provide an outstanding guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of automotive repair experience required.
  • Must be Toyota certified or ASE certified preferred but not required.
  • Must be self-motivated and have a positive attitude.
  • Must have the ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
