Your Career Opportunity

In this exciting new career opportunity, you’ll be reporting to the Growth Director in Germany on full-time hours and working from home remotely.

As a Head of State Funded Programs, you’ll have a direct impact on leading and scaling a high‑performing SME sales team. Collaborating with our internal teams, you’ll play an essential role in:

  • Owning SFP new business targets and developing a scalable go-to-market strategy for the German/DACH market, with a strong focus on SMEs (up to 500 employees).
  • Actively driving new business through prospecting, cold calling, and mid-market sales, while demonstrating the sales excellence expected from the team.
  • Developing a predictable pipeline through structured lead generation, outbound activity, disciplined follow-up, and clear performance KPIs.
  • Managing, coaching, and developing 6 Sales Consultants and 1 Admin Support, fostering a high-performance culture and driving individual and team target achievement.
  • Improving sales processes, CRM usage, forecasting, reporting, and leveraging automation and AI to increase productivity and sales effectiveness.
  • Expanding opportunities through new funded programs and certifications, ensuring learner activation, engagement, completion, and compliance with funding

What You'll Offer

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding targets, particularly in mid-market and SME segments (companies with up to 500 employees).
  • Demonstrated success in cold calling, lead generation, pipeline development, negotiation, and closing new business.
  • Ability to define ICP and TAM, develop effective outbound strategies, prioritize territories, and translate business objectives into actionable sales plans. Strong understanding of MEDDICC is an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading and developing sales teams, ideally managing 5+ sales representatives. Proven ability to set KPIs, coach performance, drive accountability, and consistently deliver team targets.
  • Strong CRM knowledge and experience using sales performance metrics, forecasting, dashboards, and automation tools. Comfortable embracing AI and collaborating with Sales Operations and Tech teams to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
