Are you a skilled mechanical design engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of plastic injection-molded parts?

Bring your technical expertise and collaborative approach to help shape the next generation of LEGO® bricks by continuously improving their quality, performance, and manufacturability.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop existing LEGO® bricks using Siemens NX Design Software.
  • Define technical specifications for existing LEGO® bricks.
  • Own the form, fit, and function of existing LEGO® bricks, ensuring compliance with LEGO® design principles, quality standards, manufacturing requirements, and play performance.
  • Deliver engineering solutions on time, within cost targets, and to the required quality standards while complying with LEGO® governance and development processes.
  • Apply knowledge in plastic injection moulding, mould design, materials, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes to deliver robust, manufacturable existing LEGO® bricks designs.
  • Support improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, engineering efficiency, and productivity.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values teamwork, continuous learning, and a positive attitude.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years' experience in plastic part design. Proficient in Siemens NX Design Software. Good understanding of plastic mould design, injection moulding processes, and tool making. Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques. Good collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for learnings. A collaborative team player with a proactive and positive attitude. Proficient in written and spoken English to communicate with colleagues globally.
