You'll work with cloud engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and mission partners to integrate security capabilities, automate infrastructure, troubleshoot complex issues, and protect critical defense networks.

If you enjoy hands-on cloud engineering, solving complex technical challenges, and supporting a mission that matters, we encourage you to apply.

Location: Hybrid - Adelphi, MD (3 days onsite)

Clearance: U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret clearance to start. Must be eligible to obtain up to TS/SCI.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engineer, secure, and maintain Azure Government cloud infrastructure supporting CSSP operations and subscriber onboarding.
  • Integrate and troubleshoot cloud logging, monitoring, and security services across Azure and other cloud platforms, including GCP and Oracle.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Python, Azure Bicep, ARM templates, and scripting tools.
  • Support Authority to Operate (ATO) and operational maintenance (O&M) activities, including patching, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and security compliance.
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure, networking, connectivity, operating system, and security issues.
  • Collaborate with subscribers and cross-functional teams to implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Hands-on experience engineering, administering, or supporting Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
  • Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking, routing, DNS, TLS/SSL certificates, firewalls, security groups, and private connectivity.
  • Experience with production cloud operations, patching, incident resolution, change management, and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience working with technical teams and customers.
  • Ability to meet applicable DoD 8140 qualification requirements at the start of employment and obtain required CSSP and Computing Environment certifications within 90 days, as applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure Government, DoD Impact Levels (IL4/IL5/IL6), or other government cloud environments.
  • Experience with cloud security tools, including Elastic Stack, Tenable, endpoint security solutions, and cloud-native logging and monitoring.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation experience using Terraform, Ansible, Azure Bicep, Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF), ATO processes, DISA STIGs/SRGs, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container security, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, or similar version control tools.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar enterprise tools.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, or AZ-305.
  • Linux certifications such as RHCSA or CompTIA Linux+.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
