The posting

We're looking for a CLX Advocate to help our Dutch customers through some of the most stressful moments they'll face as policyholders. You'll sit within our Claims Experience squad and own the full claims journey — from first report to resolution — making sure every interaction is fast, fair, and handled with real care. This job is for the most part remote, and we will ask you to come to the office once a week (and if needed).

In this role you'll

- Take ownership of the complex and sensitive claims that fall outside automated handling — the ones where judgment, empathy, and experience actually matter

- Handle claims end to end across email, phone, and app for our customers — from first report to resolution

- Investigate and settle claims independently, keeping resolution times tight

- Organize and prioritize your daily caseload so nothing slips and no customer waits longer than they should

- Partner with Claims Advocates and your Squad Leader to flag edge cases and help shape how we handle them

- Spot patterns in recurring claim types and feed them back to the team to drive smarter processes

- Keep every customer interaction aligned with Lemonade's tone — especially when the conversation is hard

What you'll need

- Min. 3+ years of hands-on claims-handling experience

- Fluency in Dutch and English — you'll be switching between both daily

- Wft Basis and Wft Schade is a big plus

- A customer-first mindset: you investigate and resolve, you don't just process

- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and you adapt quickly

- Empathy and patience that hold up even when a customer is stressed or frustrated

- Genuine curiosity about AI tools and how they can make your work sharper — at Lemonade, that's just how we operate
